Based on feedback from credit union lending and marketing professionals, the MCUL & Affiliates 2013 Lending and Marketing Conference has an exciting agenda packed full of topics staffers need to stay current. The popular event takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 12-13, at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, centrally located in downtown Grand Rapids.
Financial industry consultant Pierre Cardenas will deliver the Lending Conference keynote, "Trends Hitting the Banking Industry." The presentation will expose attendees to major shifts in the marketplace that will revolutionize the way consumers handle their financial transactions and the impact that mobile banking technology is having in leading the way.
Financial services executive and consultant Mark Arnold is well-known to credit union marketers, and will be on hand to deliver the Marketing Conference keynote on "Community Marketing With a Generational Twist." Arnold will explain how each generation and each community a credit union serves is unique, and discuss how it cannot be all things to all people or all things to all generations. The presentation offers practical ways credit unions can market to each generation, discusses financial products each generation finds appealing, and provides community marketing strategies, tips and tactics for successful generational and community marketing growth.
