Any busy credit union employee who is responsible for compliance matters will benefit from the one-day session, Compliance From A-Z. The popular training event was formerly known as Compliance for Executives and will take place Thursday, Feb. 14, following the MCUL & Affiliates Lending and Marketing Conference being held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids.
The event is priced at just $199 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch, and features four time-slots of breakout topic choices, plus a "Compliance Roundtable" session to close-out the day.
Agenda items include, "10 Steps to Building and Maintaining a Successful Regulatory Compliance Program," "Compliance in Advertising," "Fair Lending Reg B/C," "Servicemembers SCRA," "Impending Changes to Mortgage Lending," "Top Compliance Mistakes," "State Law Update."
Compliance From A-Z will also be offered June 6, at the Holiday Inn in Marquette, with a varied agenda than listed above. The new event name reflects the need for both executives and operational staff to get an overview of important compliance topics, and remains affordable for multiple participants to attend from the same credit union.
