Titanic Exhibit to Provide Backdrop for Networking at Lending and Marketing Conference

Thanks to a sponsorship by Mortgage Center, attendees at the MCUL & Affiliates Lending and Marketing Conference will have the memorable experience of viewing the Titanic Artifact Exhibition, featuring more than 150 legendary artifacts conserved from the iconic ship, which are currently on display at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.

The Lending and Marketing Conference takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 12-13 at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids, and has built a loyal following of attendees who return from across the state each year to connect with peers and gain insights from nationally known authorities. Agenda topics include local perspectives, too, such as "Credit Union Spotlights" on EECU and Lake Michigan CU, and a session on "Community Outreach With a Purpose" which offers a case example from FinancialEdge Community CU.

In addition to two complete agendas, attendees will appreciate the added opportunity to network during a reception with vendors, and enjoy optional activities such as a scavenger hunt, a Zumba wake-up exercise session and bringing along donations to the West Michigan Food Bank (as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative).

When the first day's agenda wraps-up on Tuesday afternoon, attendees have free-time to enjoy dinner on their own with peers and walk over to the nearby museum to view the Titanic Exhibition at their own pace, offering more quality networking time to meet colleagues and exchange ideas.
