More than 130 credit unions are supporting the 2013 CU Link cooperative advertising campaign with an average contribution of $7,290.
So far, credit unions have contributed $955,000. With CUcorp matching funds and an MCUL contribution of $286,000, the total media buy stands at $2.2 million. Last year's research showed a strong correlation between the consumer awareness of credit unions and the amount of the media buy. Research shows awareness at an all-time high of 64% in 2012, after a record media buy of $2.5 million.
