Two Compliance Webinars This Week: Regulatory Update I and Notary Training

Two more important compliance webinars are scheduled to take place this week, each discount priced at just $129 per Internet connect and which qualify for the "buy three, receive 50% off a fourth" compliance webinar savings offer.

The Regulatory Update I  will be held Tuesday, March 19 and will be facilitated by Shawn Wolbert and Tom Leduc. The popular Reg Update is a great way to stay current and ask questions about credit union regulatory issues and agenda items and this update agenda includes Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rules related to international remittance transfers, high cost mortgage and homeownership counseling amendment, escrow requirements and other mortgage related issues. NCUA rules will also be covered, including information about low income designations, troubled condition, rural districts and more.

A Notary Training webinar  is also slated for this Thursday, March 21. The Michigan Notary Public Act 238 provides guidance and requirements for the qualifications, appointment and regulation of notaries in the state of Michigan. The webinar will offer a review of the DO’s and DON’Ts of being a notary and performing notarial acts.

Both webinars take place from 1  to 2 p.m. EDT and include a complimentary recorded archive, which may be downloaded, saved and shared, providing a great resource for a credit union's training library.
