CU National Update: For the week of March 18, CUBE TV’s Mona Shand has the latest on a measure moving through Congress that is aimed at bringing regulatory relief to credit unions. Also, find out whether or not the credit union tax status is mentioned in the latest budget proposals, and what CFPB Director Richard Cordray had to say about the industry on Capitol Hill. 

CU Compliance Connection: On Jan. 10 the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau amended the Truth in Lending Act to implement mandatory escrow requirements dictated by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. This rule goes into effect on June 1, 2013.  Join this presentation on the Compliance Connection to review the requirements of the new rule.
