... MCUL & Affiliates will host a Business Accounts webinar on April 30 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (EST) with attorney Chuck Holzman. The program will review account agreements and items relevant to non-natural person accounts, as well as various types of legal entities, membership eligibility issues and issues related to the use and maintenance of the accounts. ...Those interested in an ALM Interest Rate Risk Update can listen in to an audio session on April 30 from 11 a.m. to noon (EST), offered in cooperation with the Illinois CU League for just $129 per connection. This update will address the regulators’ most recent pronouncements seven months after the implementation of the NCUA IRR regulation. Included in this session are some reports from the field by credit unions that have been examined under the new regulation. The two most common methodologies for estimating IRR, income simulation and NEV will be reviewed and their practical application will be discussed. As long term assets increase, some additional insight into the NEV approach will be offered. To register for the audio event, click here.
