Get Positively Connected! With iConnect 2013 AC&E App

Michigan credit union professionals will soon be headed to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center for the MCUL & Affiliates 2013 Annual Convention and Exposition May 16-18.

This year's event theme "Positively Connected," is the basis for providing plenty of opportunities for attendees to interact through networking, training, forums, social media, dialog and fun activities, but also through the new iConnect AC&E 2013 conference app.

Attendees are reminded to bring along their smartphones and tablets, whether they be Apple or Android devices. Visit the App Store or Google Play and search "MCUL" to download the free app. Those who utilized the AC&E app in 2012, will need to download this year's newly designed version. It is not an update of last year’s app.

The iConnect app is packed with a variety of valuable resources to add to the overall conference experience. In addition to the event agenda, session descriptions and speakers bios, session handout materials may also be accessed. Conference goers will find floor plans, exhibitor information, attendee contacts and details on upcoming events. Those interested in the charity auctions for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals may even view items available for bid. Want to meet up with friends for dinner? Check out the app for information on local dining.

A Conference Orientation and App Demonstration will take place on Thursday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the Cadillac room on Level 5 of the hotel. Complimentary wireless Internet will be available in public areas of the hotel and in meeting rooms using access code 725103; note there is a charge for Internet access from hotel guest rooms.

Get "Positively Connected" at this year's AC&E. Follow Twitter updates through the iConnect app, watch for fun activities and opportunities to win prizes and stay connected to others via Twitter @MCULEvents, #mculace. Not registered yet? Register onsite on level 4 of the hotel, in the Renaissance Foyer. It’s going to be a great time in Detroit.
