And the Winner Is ... Your Credit Union

At least it could be if you enter this year’s Dora Maxwell, Louise Herring, and Alphonse Desjardins award competitions. The submission period for these awards is now open and all entries must be received by Aug. 2.

Last year, Michigan led the nation in the number of national awards from CUNA for all the outstanding community and member service projects recognized through these awards. Now is the time to build on that momentum and show the nation that credit unions help put the “great” in Great Lakes State. These awards also offer a critical opportunity to show the credit union difference in action, and with the current fight to preserve the credit union tax exemption in Washington, there has never been a more important time to do just that.

Credit unions of all asset sizes are eligible to submit entries for the different awards. Entries must be received by August 2 and should cover activities that took place between roughly June 2012 and June 2013. Credit unions may submit entries for more than one award.
