Registration Now Open for Volunteers to Attend Fall Leadership Development Conference

One of MCUL & Affiliates most popular and well attended events – the Fall Leadership Development Conference for volunteers and CEOs – is scheduled for Sept. 13-15 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, and online registration is now available.

This year's keynote, "Taking the Helm! Board Leadership During Extreme Change" will be led by industry trainer and consultant Dr. Jack Wolf, who will take a look at what is happening in the marketplace and how is it affecting credit unions. Wolf will show directors how to create consensus with other board members, while also determining what is strategic and what is not. Attendees will learn how to take steps towards becoming a more effective leader and increasing “outside the box thinking” at the board level.

The informational-packed agenda features over a dozen industry specialists and a great selection of breakout sessions. Guests are welcome to join participants at the conference to enjoy the venue, while also choosing amongst several agenda activities including a Saturday afternoon outing into Traverse City and a complimentary "Gentle Yoga" session especially for guests.
