Help Choose Theme for Youth Week 2014

National CU Youth Week™ is CUNA's official national celebration for credit unions that support youth financial literacy all year long. It's an opportunity to formally acknowledge young members and encourage them to start — and maintain — a saving habit.

April is National Financial Literacy Month, and the National Youth Saving Challenge™ will again run the entire month. You can participate for just a week or all month. Youth Week is April 20-26, 2014.

Keep in mind, you can run Youth Week in April or any time that works best for your credit union and community, whether that is another week in the spring, or during the summer months.

CUNA has received a few topic ideas for 2014's Youth Week, but it’s still accepting ideas. Send your suggestions to YWCoordinator@cuna.coop by Aug. 28. There will be a vote on the top themes in early September.
