AC&E Registration and Hotel Reservations Being Accepted
The MCUL & Affiliates 2013 Annual Convention and Exposition heads to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, this May 16-18, and online registration and hotel reservations are now being accepted. Event highlights include an opening keynote presentation "Executing Imagination: Turning Creative Fire Into Real Results" by Josh Linkner, author of the New York Time's bestselling book Disciplined Dreaming. Linkner is also the CEO and managing partner of Detroit Venture Partners and founder, chairman and former CEO of Michigan-based ePrize. Another bestselling author will be Saturday’s keynote speaker. Steve Gilliland will speak on "You Make a Difference" based on his book Enjoy the Ride. Registration Soars for Agenda Topics at Spring Leadership Development Conference
An informative agenda packed with compliance and BSA training is bringing large numbers of volunteers and CEOs to the Spring Leadership Development Conference, taking place March 15-17 at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant. Credit Union Advocates Head to Lansing for State GAC
Registration is now open for the MCUL & Affiliates 2013 GAC, featuring a keynote presentation by Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette who will speak on the important topic of foreclosures and fraud. The GAC provides an opportunity to meet with legislators, discuss important issues and work towards protecting what credit unions do best ... helping people. Encourage Colleagues Under 30 to Apply Now to "Crash" AC&E
Once again MCUL & Affiliates, in sponsorship with CUNA Mutual Group and in collaboration with The Cooperative Trust, is supporting "Crash Michigan" an opportunity for up-and-coming Michigan credit union staffers under age 30 to receive complimentary admission to the League's Annual Convention and Exposition. Now in its third year in Michigan, selected applicants receive a registration scholarship to the event, as a way to engage the next generation of credit union leaders by educating and growing young talent. Applications to participate are being accepted until March 22 and as many as ten individuals will be selected to attend the AC&E, taking place May 16-18 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
