AC&E: Plenty of Registration Options Make Attending Affordable for All

As credit unions continue to seek the most value for their training dollar, the MCUL & Affiliates “Positively Connected!” Annual Convention and Exposition offers a variety of registration options that can make it more affordable than expected to attend the popular event taking place May 16-18 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The event features prominent keynote speakers and an outstanding exposition that compare to national-level events, without the added costs of out of state travel, and is packed-full of insightful training topics.

Friday, May 17, will feature the keynote presentation "Executing Imagination: Turning Creative Fire Into Real Results" by Michigan entrepreneur Josh Linkner, along with "Chapter Leaders: Leading Within a Chapter" and two guest enrichment sessions appropriate for attendees or their guests. Also new this year, a "Credit Union Leader Roundtable Session and Breakfast" for large- and small-asset size credit unions is being offered and is included in registration for Friday and the League's annual "Membership Meeting & Leadership Summit" will be held on Friday, rather than Saturday.

The Saturday, May 18, agenda is a day of inspiration, ideas and networking, kicking-off with the "Honors Awards and Breakfast" which is included in registration, along with the keynote presentation "You Make the Difference" by bestselling author Steve Gilliland. Saturday is packed with more training options, plus a fun complimentary activity for guests to create a take-home custom-blended gift-jar of scented sprinkles. And for those looking for more quality networking time with their peers, there is the option for an afternoon excursion river cruise on the Ovation yacht and an evening of fun with other attendees at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle.

A one-day registration option is available to attend the AC&E for just $150 and provides admittance to all non-ticketed program events and included meals scheduled for any single-day of the event; a similar registration category for two-days is available for just $300. Attending select days is a highly affordable way to access quality training on specific topics and still enjoy valuable networking.

The best value is the full convention registration category for just $339 per person, which includes all three days of the event. Credit unions that register five attendees in this category qualify to register the sixth attendee (or more) for just $284 per person. Better still, by registering one full convention attendee, a credit union qualifies to send one additional participant to the INSIDE Credit Union Compliance conference, taking place in conjunction with the AC&E on Thursday, May 16 ... a $129 value!
