NCUA LETTERS TO CREDIT UNIONS: Guidance - Investing in Securities without Reliance on Credit Ratings 

In June, the NCUA issued Letter to Credit Unions 13-CU-05. The letter addresses Section 939A of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act which required all federal agencies, to remove references to credit ratings in regulations and substitute other standards of creditworthiness that are deemed appropriate.
