MCUL Scholarships are designed to open the door to professional growth and meaningful connections for Young Professionals and Small Asset Size credit unions. These opportunities help make it easier to attend MCUL conferences, build skills and engage with peers from across Michigan’s credit union community.
Each application is reviewed by our team, and scholarship recipients will be contacted directly once the selection process is complete. You can find specific details about what each scholarship covers at the top of the individual application forms.

ASFM Defense Fund Scholarship
MCUL offers a limited number of scholarships to support Michigan credit union leaders attending select events. Scholarships help offset or cover related travel costs.
Scholarship Opportunities
National Credit Union Foundation Development Education Training
Scholarships cover full CUDE registration fee of $3,199. Travel and hotel costs not included.
Available sessions:
- Aug. 30-Sept. 4, 2026
- Oct. 4-9, 2026
Applications due by May 22 for the August session.

MCUF CU Professional Development Scholarship
Professional development scholarships for credit union affiliated education and training programs.
Maximum scholarship amount: $3,000
