HOW TEAM ONE IS USING AN MCUF
GRANT TO BUILD A BETTER TOMORROW

In 2018, the Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) is
continuing to help credit unions make an impact in areas that
have large populations of underserved, low-income consumers
through Community Reinvestment Grants.

Last year, MCUF awarded 24 Community Reinvestment Grants
totaling $110,000. One of those went to Saginaw-based Team
One Credit Union, which used their grant to partner with the
Greater Michigan Construction Academy (GMCA). Leveraging
the MCUF’s grant to increase impact, a total of $20,000 in
support has been provided to increase training for skilled trades
in high demand.
