LMCU’s "Band Together" Campaign Raises $50K for Kids' Care
Every year, the Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) community bands together to raise money for kids’ care. This year represents the eighth year that LMCU has organized its Band Together campaign, encouraging members and staff members throughout Michigan and Florida to donate any amount to support kids’ care in their local communities.
Altogether during this year’s campaign, LMCU raised $50,000 in November, with the credit union matching $15,000 of donations. The funds will be divided among 17 hospitals throughout Michigan and Florida. LMCU is honored to have so many members and employees step up in support of our community’s little heroes.
LMCU Vice President of Community Relations Matt Cook emphasized how honored LMCU is to have so many members and employees step up in support of pediatric and kids’ care programs, “We are grateful for the ongoing support and generosity of our communities,” Cook said. “The money raised will go towards helping provide the best care and support for our communities’ little heroes and their families. We were able to partner with even more hospitals this year and are thrilled to see our Band Together initiative continue to grow and expand its impact.”
