MCCU Donates Cash to South Michigan Food Bank

Marshall Commmccuunity Credit Union (MCCU) announced a cash donation in the amount of $3,175 to the South Michigan Food Bank. This donation will help provide food for community members during the holiday season.

“At MCCU, we believe in giving back to our community, and we are honored to support the South Michigan Food Bank with this donation,” said CEO Corrie Rozell. “No one should have to go hungry, and we are committed to assisting the residents who reside in the communities we serve.”

The South Michigan Food Bank (SMFB), which serves eight counties in South Michigan, expressed their gratitude for the donation. “The holidays are a time for joy, but unfortunately can also be a time of worry,” said SMFB CEO Peter Vogel. “With rising costs of living, there is less flexibility in people’s budgets for groceries and other basic needs. We are thankful for this gift which alleviates that worry. Together, we are providing food for people to gather this holiday season. Thank you!”
