Michigan State Police and ELGA Celebrates 10 Years of Stuff a Blue Goose Benefiting the Salvation Army Toy Shoppe
This past December, ELGA Credit Union hosted their 10th annual toy drive partnering with the Michigan State Police. Stuff a Blue Goose benefits the Salvation Army Toy Shoppe. Monetary and new toy donations were collected at 13 ELGA branches. Donations to the Salvation Army were given to local families in need during the holiday season.
“It is such a joy to work with the Michigan State Police and ELGA Credit Union for Stuff a Blue Goose,” said Major Randy Hellstrom with The Salvation Army. “The whole community comes together so we can supply local children with a memorable Christmas.”
Over 2,200 toys were collected from the community and associates of ELGA Credit Union, In addition to the toys donated, ELGA was able to raise $20,598.26.
