How to Donate to Victims of Maui Wildfires

The Michigan Credit Union League’s thoughts are with everyone impacted by this week’s wildfires in Maui, Hawaii. The wildfires have taken the lives of 55 people thus far and have displaced many from their homes.

The Hawaii Credit Union League (HCUL) has shared the following message:

To help those impacted by the fires, monetary donations can be made to “Valley Isle Chapter – HCUL” and sent to:

Valley Isle Chapter
C/O Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union
160 Paahana Street
Kahului, HI 96732

Fund distribution will be determined by HCUL’s Valley Isle Chapter. The Hawaii Credit Union League Board and Staff extends their sincere appreciation to those who have offered their support.

If you have any questions, please contact HCUL President/CEO Carol Marx at carol.marx@hcul.org or 808-282-6658.

Also, CUAid is open and accepting donations. The National Credit Union Foundation is working closely with HCUL to get disaster relief funds flowing to Maui credit unions. Donate here.
