4frOut of more than 50 applications, Boots for Kids, Homestretch Nonprofit Housing Corporation, Hand2Hand, Cheboygan County Habitat for Humanity, and Northern Michigan Equine Therapy came out on top as the 2022 4Front Foundation grant recipients.

“It’s an honor to be able to give back to the community and to receive so many grant applications for our first grant cycle,” said 4Front Foundation Executive Director Rachel Hunter. “Our committee had some tough decisions to make but feel very fortunate to be able to help these five recipients continue their missions in our communities.”

Cheboygan County Habitat for Humanity received $2,500 and will be using their grant toward new, reusable hospice ramps that will, in part, be built by high school students.

Northern Michigan Equine Therapy received $3,000 and will use these funds to continue their mission of improving the lives of those impacted by physical disabilities and mental health needs through the healing power of horses.
