Directors Find Required BSA/AML Training, Plus Economic and Financial Industry Info at Spring Leadership Conference
With banking industry headlines, rising interest rates and economic predictors among the news topics of the day, credit union directors, committee members and C-suite executives should register now for the MCUL Spring Leadership Development Conference to gain insights and resources for staying current.
Held April 28-30 at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, the event features Steven W. Rick, director and chief economist from CUNA Mutual Group, who will discuss the economic outlook and what impact credit unions should expect, all to provide directors a broader understanding of what lays ahead and how to address the current environment.
C-suite leaders are encouraged to join volunteers at the event for networking opportunities, as well as sessions on topics such as "The Relationship Web: Board, Supervisory Committee and Management" and "Cybersecurity: What it is and What the Supervisory Committee Should be Doing." Attendees will also have access to required “Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering” training for directors.
Hotel rooms are being held at a negotiated rate on a first-come basis, and registration and additional information may be found here.
