MFCU Network Administrator Honored with Inaugural Ignite Award
Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions has named Members First Credit Union (MFCU) network administrator Joshua Buck as its first recipient of the Ignite Award.
New for 2023, the Ignite Award was created to showcase a young professional who exhibits a firm belief and dedication to credit union principles. This individual goes above and beyond to promote credit union philosophy, and strives to make a difference.
Buck, who has worked at MFCU since 2016, received the award April 5 during the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions’ Annual Meeting in Midland.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled by this award,” Buck said. “My successes would not be possible without having a strong support network in my life. I want to give a special thank you to everyone who has supported me as I continue to grow as a Young Professional.”
In addition to his role as network administrator at MFCU, Buck is the advocacy director for District 2 of the FUEL MI Young Professional group and is actively involved with the credit union action committee.
“Josh Buck is making waves in our movement and credit union,” stated Carrie Iafrate, president and CEO of MFCU. “He sets his sights on a goal and works hard. Josh is gregarious; sharing his passion for credit unions, our mission, and the good work he sees us doing with anyone who will listen.”
Buck continues to set his sights high and plans to continue making a positive difference in his community and at MFCU.
