MCUL's Team Behind the Scenes is an article series running through the end of the year that's designed to give the Michigan credit union community more insight into the people who make up our dedicated team.
What is your favorite project to work on at MCUL?
I love putting together the annual Credit Union Impact Report. Doing that publication allows me to see just how much our credit union movement does each year. Getting to tell that story through different data points and programs is always a cool challenge.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a professional basketball player. I've since settled for being a solid contributor to my local "Old Man" league.
What does a perfect day off look like for you?
A perfect day off would start with a bike ride with my wife to get coffee, a long walk with my dog, watch a movie at home and then we get some dinner and drinks somewhere nice.
Do you have any big plans for 2025?
My wife and I will be going to New Orleans early next year and also going back to Montreal, where we honeymooned, in the spring.
What’s your favorite thing about the holiday season?
I love all the food -- the cookies, pie, mulled wine, eggnog -- and sharing them with family.
