MCUL's Team Behind the Scenes is an article series running through the end of the year that's designed to give the Michigan credit union community more insight into the people who make up our dedicated team.
What is your favorite project to work on at MCUL?
I worked in a kennel as an animal caretaker.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a meteorologist.
What does a perfect day off look like for you?
During a perfect day off, I am at an all-inclusive resort with warm weather and a beautiful beach.
Do you have any big plans for 2025?
For spring break this year, we are taking a family cruise, including grandparents and cousins. During the cruise, I will be checking off one of my bucket list places: Belize!
What’s your favorite thing about the holiday season?
I love getting away with my husband and kids. The holidays are always so busy, so a few years ago we decided to slow down and usually take a family vacation over Christmas. It is a great opportunity to just hang out, relax and spend some good quality time with the kids.
What do you love about the credit union movement?
I love how the philosophy of “people helping people” extends further than just helping members. I have never seen an industry that collaborates as much as credit unions do and it is refreshing.
