Consumer Lending Topics Addressed at InfoSight Masterclass™ on Oct. 8
To support Michigan credit union professionals, MCUL is collaborating to host the 2024 League InfoSight Masterclass™ at The Henry Center in Lansing. The event takes place the week of Oct. 7-11, with one-day registration options also available.
The second day of the event, Oct. 8, is all about consumer lending and will cover Michigan specific topics including repossession and liquidation of collateral, as well as cover bankruptcy 101. A refresher and overview of other consumer lending issues will include:
- Equal Credit Opportunity Act / Regulation B
- Military Lending Act (MLA)
- Servicemember’s Civil Relief Act (SCRA)
- Fair Credit Reporting Act / Regulation V
- Truth in Lending Act / Regulation Z
Participants will have the opportunity to earn a League InfoSight Masterclass ™ Subject Expert Badge. Registration to attend for one day is only $349 per person.
