Registration Now Open for HR and Training Event HERO25
The people who work with the people who serve Michigan credit union members – HR and training professionals – will be gathering this summer for a conference all their own. HERO25 heads to Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, July 16-17, with pre-event networking activities on July 15.
HERO continues to grow in popularity each year, with credit unions finding value in sending multiple participants for the high-energy, high-interaction event that offers plenty of time for participants to exchange ideas and delve into sharing experiences and best practices.
The last day of the event is structured as a workshop and will feature Lisa Schaefer, a leadership trainer and coach, delivering presentations on “Becoming a Person of Influence,” “Stop Assuming, Start Helping: Reducing Bias and Building a Helpful Workplace Culture” and “Building Resilient Teams to Minimize Stress and Burnout.”
Those interested in applying to be a CU Social Club Ambassador for the event may learn more and apply by May 12. And those from credit unions with assets under $250 who are interested in a scholarship may apply by June 10. Information about both opportunities may be found at the event website.
SHRM/HRCI credits are expected to be available for select sessions at the event. Hotel rooms are being held at negotiated rates until June 12 at Crystal Mountain. A link for booking accommodations will be sent following registration.
