League Celebrates 90 Years of Michigan CUs; Hundreds Head to Traverse City for AC&E
Those registered to attend the MCUL & Affiliates 90th Annual Convention & Exposition should be checking their inboxes for final "Know Before You Go" information and packing to head for Traverse City, June 5-7.
The event takes place at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, with some participants staying in other nearby hotels due to capacity. Those who would still like to attend may simply email educate@mcul.org to arrange to register.
Wednesday evening will feature the popular Corks for a Cause Opening Celebration to support the Michigan Credit Union Foundation, Dave Adams' "Victory Lap" Retirement Party and the Alloya Live! reception. The Thursday keynote, "Thinking Inside the Box: How Tough Times Fuel True Creativity and Innovation" with Kyle Scheele is sure to excite attendees, and Friday will feature Dr. Lamont Black's keynote on Credit Unions' Digital Future.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals: Credit Unions for Kids charity will be supported by generous participants at a golf outing, silent auction, live auction, fun walk/run and new meditative morning yoga program. The agenda is packed with informative conference educational sessions and the return of IGNITE, short presentations delivered by peers. The sold out exposition hall will be open on Thursday, with a new Front Row Solutions Theatre showcasing products.
The event winds up on Friday with the MCUL Membership Meeting, the Honor Awards Dessert Gala! and a Dueling Piano Afterglow Finale, which will leave everyone with another year of memories, renewed friendships and valuable insights to support the success of Michigan credit unions.
