Try a Credit Union Campaign Wins 3 ADDY Awards
The Try a Credit Union Consumer Awareness Cooperative Campaign took home three ADDY Awards at this year’s American Advertising Awards Greater Flint ceremony. The campaign focused on the older Gen Z and younger millennial population.
The ceremony, which was put on by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 30,000 entries every year in local AAF Ad Club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
The Try a Credit Union Campaign won a silver ADDY in the following categories:
- Internet Commercial Campaign
- Any commercial that is created to run on the Internet.
- Social Media Campaign
- Creative executions of brand advertising, marketing and/or promotion across social media.
- Special Judges Choice Award
“We are honored to have the Try a Credit Union Campaign recognized by the American Advertising Federation,” said Michigan Credit Union League President/CEO Patty Corkery. “These ADDY Awards are validation that our campaign is creative and appealing. We can’t wait to further build on it this year!”
In 2023, the campaign garnered about 107 million impressions and nearly 639,000 clicks on the TryACreditUnion.com website. On social media, 22.5 million viewers watched the campaign videos to completion.
