IRA: Essentials and Advanced Virtual Workshops Coming in February
Now is the time to secure a seat for IRA: Essentials and Advanced Workshops being offered virtually by MCUL in February. Credit union staffers who work with members and handle individual retirement accounts are encouraged to register for either or both days of training being delivered by Ascensus on Feb. 13-14.
The first day includes an introduction to IRAs and how to establish them, along with information on funding, distributions and portability. The second day covers legal issues, excess contribution, required minimum distributions, beneficiary options and withholding requirements and forms. Registration is just $294 per person, per day.
