League Volunteer Training Evolves to Support Directors this Fall
Credit union directors bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and professional backgrounds to serving as volunteers, and as the financial industry continues to build in complexity, MCUL is standing ready to support the success of all board members in these important roles.
This fall, MCUL welcomes board and committee members to emerge themselves in a weekend dedicated to "All on BOARDS!" being held Sept. 12-14 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa near Traverse City. This Directors' Symposium features 'Level Up' sessions for those with advanced experience, 'Foundational' sessions covering core topics ideal for newer directors, 'Explore' topics ideal as all access general learning and 'Regulartory Requirement' training on the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering that is necessary for all directors.
Combined with colloquium presentations, a panel discussion, an outstanding line-up of expert presenters and unique networking experiences (including golf, pickle ball and team trivia), the symposium brings together favorites from the League's past Fall Leadership Development Conferences with fresh updates for a retreat-like feel.
