MCUL is dedicated to keeping the Michigan credit union movement informed throughout the year with an events schedule that tackles our industry’s most relevant and paramount topics. Aside from the knowledge and best practices shared by experts, each of MCUL’s education events offers a great networking platform, where credit union professionals can connect and share insights and takeaways with one another.

Lending Conference Heads to Grand Rapids as MCUL’s New YOU Conference; Plus, Marketing and Compliance Topics

The Interchange Issue is one of many topics of interest to credit unions that is on the agenda for the new MCUL Marketing, Compliance, YOU and Lending Conference taking place at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids March 20-21.

Attorney Chuck Holzman will be addressing concerns around interchange fees charged between financial institutions for processing card transactions which have been under scrutiny for their impact on businesses and consumers. While the matter has prompted discussions and debates about the need for fair and transparent interchange fee structures to foster a more equitable financial ecosystem, Holzman will provide the latest news along with steps and suggestions credit unions should be considering.
