MCUL and Ascensus Present IRA: Essentials and Advanced Virtual Workshops
Credit union staffers who work with members and handle individual retirement accounts will have access to a virtul workshop that covers essential topics on day one and advanced topics on day.
Delivered by Ascensus on Feb. 13-14 the first day includes an introduction to IRAs and how to establish them, along with information on funding, distributions and portability. The second day covers legal issues, excess contribution, required minimum distributions, beneficiary options and withholding requirements and forms.
Those who are unavailable in February but who are still needing the training may also choose to register for the same virtual workshop being offered Nov. 13-14.
