In her current role, Hunt leads the organization’s advocacy strategy and relentless efforts to elevate credit union priorities. She has 20 years of experience in consumer finance and financial services law, credit union regulations and association lobbying, and most recently served as President/CEO of the Virginia Credit Union League.
Hunt talks with MCUL CEO Patty Corkery ahead of the 2025 GAC about the importance of in-person advocacy and foregrounding lawmakers’ constituents during Hill visits.
The two also discuss their shared history with financial services law and leading a credit union league, as well as how each see the credit union movement changing over the next five years.
