American Banker released its annual list of Best Credit Unions to Work For, featuring 70 national credit unions. Of those 70, seven are Michigan credit unions.

According to the publication, the winners were ranked via two surveys with the help of Best Companies Group. The first survey was completed by employees to measure their satisfaction, while the second survey weighed the benefits and policies of each credit union, including leading programs such as cost-free telehealth visits, employee appreciation events, volunteer opportunities and more.

Of the institutions that made the list, 92% of employees said they were satisfied with their current employer and 77% of honorees' employees felt rewarded for good work.
