Financial Plus Partners with Downtown Bay City for Feet on the Street Event

Financial Plus Credit Union is excited to announce its partnership with Downtown Bay City, supporting Feet on the Street, the Wednesdays in the Park free summer concert series, and free Health and Wellness classes. Festivities will run through Aug. 31.

"I was really excited to work with Financial Plus on this partnership with Downtown Bay City, it's going to be another great summer! All of the free wellness classes, live music, story times, and events add to the vibrancy of our downtown regardless of anyone’s financial means. These activities also drive foot traffic, giving a significant boost to small businesses by attracting visitors who are likely to shop, dine, and explore the Downtown," said Kellie Rupp, marketing director for Downtown Bay City.

“I’m thrilled about our exciting new partnership with Downtown Bay City, a community I proudly call home!” said Cody Strope, sales manager for Financial Plus’ Bay City branch. “At Financial Plus we’re passionate about supporting local businesses, so we love how Feet on the Street and Wednesdays in the Park encourage people to explore the city and discover new places. This partnership perfectly aligns with our mission of supporting everyone on their journey to wellness, whether that be financial, physical, or mental. I can’t wait to see where this partnership will take us!”

To help kick off Feet on the Street, local artist Kayla Peake revitalized a planter box on Center Avenue in Bay City with a fresh new look to reflect Financial Plus’ branding and sponsorship.
