MCCU Donates $7K to Aiding Area Animals, Supporting Local Rescue Efforts
Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) is proud to announce a donation of $7,125 to Aiding Area Animals, a 501(c)(3) adoptable animal rescue based in Coldwater. This donation will support the rescue’s mission to provide care, medical treatment, and forever homes for animals in need.
Aiding Area Animals began operations in 2023 and focuses on rescue, adoption, and responsible pet ownership. Patti Fosdick, president of Aiding Area Animals, expressed her gratitude for the donation, noting, “This is going to help so much, and the timing of the donation is impeccable. We have sixteen kittens going in for spay/neuter in October.”
The donation was made possible through MCCU’s recent grand opening promotion for their new Coldwater location pledging to donate $25 for each consumer loan closed.
“We are incredibly grateful for the work that Aiding Area Animals does to improve the lives of animals, and their humans,” said Alyssa Jones, marketing director and brand manager, MCCU. “We are so pleased that we were able to present this donation to Patti – her gratitude brought a smile to our faces knowing we made a difference in their work and the lives of the animals they save on a daily basis.”
