NCUF Grant Helps Members First Focus on Financial Health
Members First Credit Union was awarded a grant from the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF), furthering its commitment to improving financial well-being for its members and community. NCUF, dedicated to its "Financial Well-being for All" mission, provides resources to credit unions, empowering them to offer targeted financial health solutions.
With this grant, Members First has the opportunity to collaborate with two renowned vendors, Attune Insights and Coopera Consulting. These partnerships will help refine the credit union’s services and expand outreach efforts to serve members and the community better.
“We are very thankful to the National Credit Union Foundation for allowing us to work with new vendors to expand our knowledge and advance our credit union offerings,” shared Kristen Williamson, community relations leader at Members First. “Both Attune and Coopera are highly regarded vendors in our industry, and we are honored to have the opportunity to work with them to help our members improve their financial health and achieve greater financial stability.”
Attune Insights conducted surveys among employees and members to gather essential data on their financial health. This information will guide Members First in tailoring products and services to address the specific financial needs of its members to empower their journey of well-being.
Coopera Consulting will analyze the credit union’s membership demographics and the communities it serves, identifying ways to expand access and inclusion. This analysis allows Members First to reach more individuals, particularly those in underserved populations who could benefit from its wide range of financial services.
