OUR Credit Union Charitable Foundation Raises $14K
OUR Credit Union hosted its 11th Annual Charitable Golf Outing at Cracklewood Golf Course in Macomb. They raised $14,000 thanks to sponsor support and golfer participation and generosity.
“It’s an exciting time of year for us. Year over year I am continually amazed at the generosity of our members, the community, and our sponsors. They really are the bones of our community outreach success and we are so thankful for them,” said Janice Maiorano, assistant marketing manager at OUR Credit Union.
The golf outing experience includes fan favorite games like Golfzilla and the Air Cannon. Each golfer received a bagel breakfast, hot dog lunch, beverage tickets and buffet dinner, and chances to win prizes. Among the prizes awarded were: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and several basket raffles and a 50/50, which was donated back to OUR Credit Union Charitable Foundation.
The entire OUR Credit Union team gets involved in the outing by either helping recruit golfers and sponsors, putting together raffle gift baskets, volunteering day-of and even golfing in the event.
“We have a great group of staff who care about giving back and it shows - our golf outing is our largest fundraiser each year and continues to grow in popularity,” said Stephani Clancy, contact center manager at OUR Credit Union.
