Dave Adams Inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders

hol1On March 3, CUSG CEO Dave Adams was one of 16 credit union champions inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders in honor of their significant contributions to the credit union industry.

Adams, who announced he is retiring in July 2024, led the Michigan Credit Union League for 24 years and CUSG for nearly 27 years.

"It was a real honor to be inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders,” said Adams. “The other 15 individuals who were recognized were truly exemplary of the diverse leadership strength in our industry. I'm humbled to share that tremendous recognition with them!"

According to the Credit Union House, members of the Hall of Leaders are exceptional individuals that have dedicated their lives to perpetuating the credit union mission and philosophy.

hol2“Dave Adams’ induction into the Hall of Leaders is well deserved. Navigating the many ups and downs of the financial landscape over nearly 30 years, Adams’ leadership in Michigan has always been focused on innovation and leading with purpose rather than sticking to the status quo,” said MCUL President/CEO Patty Corkery. “Congratulations on a career that is not only filled with past successes, but one that will have a lasting impact on the credit union movement for years to come!”

The Credit Union House exists to meet the needs of the members of the credit union community while they are in Washington, D.C. It fosters relationships between advocates and elected officials, creates a universal and positive awareness of credit unions. The Credit Union House is owned by every statewide credit union association/league and the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL).

“The Credit Union House Hall of Leaders is a unique opportunity to recognize individuals who have made incredible contributions and have had a tremendous influence on our movement at the local, state, or national level,” said Patrick La Pine, Credit Union House chair and CEO of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates. “This lasting recognition at the Capitol Hill facility for these outstanding leaders is an inspiration to the future champions of our movement.”
