Journey FCU Raised $2K for 4 Charities in 2022

In 2022, Journey Federal Credit Union's staff raised and donated a total of $2,258 to four charities: No More Sidelines, Clinton County Relay for Life, Safe Center and Suicide Prevention.

Through staff efforts, the most significant contribution was made to Suicide Prevention, an issue that weighs heavy on many of our hearts and in the community. Journey also plans on supporting and involving employees in the Mental Health/Suicide Awareness walk in the fall.

"Our commitment to giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do," said April Steele, VP of marketing and HR at Journey. "We are thrilled to have been able to make a meaningful contribution to these important causes."

In 2023, Journey employees have chosen four new charities to support: St Johns Area Community Fund, the American Stroke Association, Mental Health/Suicide Prevention and No More Sidelines. They have already begun fundraising efforts with monthly bingo and raffles, and plan to add more activities such as candy bar sales, logo shirt sales, pop can drives, ribbon sales and many others.
