Book Rooms by August 24 for Volunteers at the Fall Leadership Development Conference
The Fall Leadership Development Conference, specifically designed for board and committee members, will once again return to the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa on Sept. 15-17.
Since 2015 MCUL has trained over 2,500 credit union volunteers and hosted over 1,200 of their guests at this annual event, and already over 250 attendees are registered for this year.
Patrick Adams will deliver the keynote "The Canary in the Coal Mine" and Don Arkell will offer a general session on "The Robots are Coming!" A dozen breakout sessions are also on the agenda including "Understanding the 2023 NCUA Supervisory Priorities," "Winning Tactics in Uncertain Times," "Board Member Responsibilities," "Being an Effective Director" and more.
The event offers plenty of opportunities to networking with peers including golf on Friday, a wine tasting on Saturday afternoon and dinner with entertainment, a DJ and dancing on Saturday night. CEOs are encouraged to join volunteers at the event and guest registration is also available. Hotel rooms are being held at a negotiated rate until Aug. 24.
