KCCU Brings Joy to Children During the Holidays
Kellogg Community Credit Union (KCCU) wrapped up its annual toy drive for the season to help ensure that children in the West Michigan area will receive a gift for Christmas. This was the 21st consecutive year that KCCU collected toys and gifts for children in need.
The credit union partnered with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program at all its Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids locations. Then its Three River’s branch supported the St. Joseph County United Way toy drive for local foster children, and the Marshall Branch partnered with There’s Enough. With the generosity of KCCU’s members and team, the credit union was able to collect over 500 toys and gift cards.
“The holidays are such a magical time for children, but can also be challenging financially for families, so we are thrilled to be able to help bring some joy to local children again this year,” said CEO Tracy Miller. “It’s heart-warming to see our communities working together to help make the holidays brighter for so many people in our community. We can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity!”
