League InfoSight Masterclass Addresses Compliance, Offers Certification; New Business Continuity Planning
MCUL and League Infosight have heard Michigan credit unions loud and clear and are once again delivering the Infosight Masterclass™ while showcasing a few exciting changes that will make it easier for more credit union employees to take advantage of this high-quality, Michigan-based training.
Taking place at The Henry Center in Lansing, Oct. 6-10, this year the deposit account and branch operations training days will be offered back-to-back, and the consumer lending and real estate lending topics will take place on two consecutive days. Also new this year will be a full day of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) that will address how examiners are focusing more on credit unions' overall programs and to get credit union employees and their teams certified on how to create and maintain an effective plan. Plus, attendees of the BCP certification will also receive a free trial of RecoveryPro!
While the training is ideal to send individuals from specific departments on select days based on position, or for branch managers and compliance teams to attend the whole week, a new advanced class has been added on Oct. 7-8 for those attendees who received their League InfoSight Masterclass Certification last year, and for any seasoned compliance/risk employees who aren’t necessarily looking for a certification, but are interested in a more in-depth level of training. Attendees for this session should already have a foundational and practical knowledge of regulations.
The League InfoSight Masterclass program is unique and offers the ability to learn about both federal and state laws and regulations. It features a fantastic line up of over a dozen speakers including regulators, subject matter experts and attorneys. Early registration is encouraged, as select dates and topics may become full.
