MCUF Announces Newly Elected Board Officers

The Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) is pleased to announce the election of Kate Hall, VP of Strategic Management at Monroe Community Credit Union, as the new President of the MCUF Board of Directors. Hall was elected during the Foundation’s annual meeting on July 21, and brings a strong commitment to community impact and credit union values to her new leadership role.

Also confirmed were the re-election of Dave Brandt, Executive Vice President at ELGA Credit Union, as Vice President, and Chrissy Siders, CEO of TRUE Community Credit Union, as Secretary/Treasurer. Both Brandt and Siders continue to bring valuable experience and consistent leadership to the Foundation’s mission.

MCUF extends its sincere gratitude to the outgoing Board Chair, Kyle Gurzynski, CEO of Filer Credit Union, who served in the role for the past three years. Under Gurzynski’s leadership, the Foundation strengthened its impact areas of financial health, community development and credit union leadership development initiatives, as well as increased awareness for MCUF overall.

“We’re excited to welcome Kate into her new role and deeply appreciate Dave and Chrissy’s continued service,” said MCUF Executive Director Andrea Tucker. “We also thank Kyle for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the Foundation over the past three years. His service has helped lay a strong foundation for future success.”
