MCUF Save to Win Grant Funding Available
Did you know that the Michigan Credit Union Foundation has grant funding available for credit unions interested in piloting the Save to Win program? It’s true! MCUF Community Enrichment Support funding is available for up to $2,000 to help cover the one-time Save to Win implementation fee.
Save to Win accounts act as traditional savings account, but with a twist. Earning interest and having access to funds won’t change, but unlike a traditional account, Save to Win gives members a chance to win cash prizes. Making a qualifying deposit of $25 or more into a Save to Win account automatically enters members of participating credit unions into a drawing for a chance to win monthly and quarterly prizes of up to $5,000. Applying for MCUF support funding is quick and easy and starts with a phone call or email to Andrea Tucker, Executive Director. If you are ready to apply, access the online grant application here.
Funds are only available to Michigan credit unions new to the Save to Win program, and funding cannot be applied to an existing Save to Win participating credit union or credited to their account.
If you’ve got room, it would be good to keep the FiCEP open registration in there as well.
