Michigan Demographic Study Made Available by MCUF and Coopera Consulting
Earlier this year, the Michigan Credit Union Foundation partnered with Coopera Consulting with a goal of publishing a state-wide demographic study to assess the diverse make-up of member populations in Michigan, as well as elevate the cultural understandings of these communities. We’re excited to announce that the report is now available!
2025 Michigan Demographic Study
“Through this initiative, we hope credit unions will take away actionable insights that help them better serve their current members while strategically growing their membership overall,” said MCUF Executive Director, Andrea Tucker. “Things like better understanding of underserved and emerging populations, finding ways to align products and services to real-life circumstances of target demographics and assessing regions or communities that could benefit from targeted outreach or partnerships.”
In addition, the Foundation has also made available Inclusion Grants, specifically designed for credit unions interested in working with Coopera directly, to use the information gained from the demographic study to develop growth strategies of their own.
