12 Credit Unions Make Detroit Free Press’ Top Workplaces of 2024
For the 17th annual Top Workplaces list, the Detroit Free Press continued its partnership with Energage, an employee research and culture technology firm, to determine this year’s winners.
This year, the publication recognized 198 total workplaces, broken out into three different size-based categories.
Of the 198 workplaces recognized, 12 were Michigan credit unions:
- Astera Credit Union
- Community Choice Credit Union
- Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union
- DFCU Financial
- ELGA Credit Union
- Embers Credit Union
- Genisys Credit Union
- Michigan First Credit Union
- Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union
- Michigan State University Federal Credit Union
- PFCU Credit Union
- University of Michigan Credit Union
Any organization with 50 or more employees in Michigan is eligible to participate in the ranking. Employers are grouped into small, medium and large sizes to best compare similar employee experiences.
