Genisys Credit Union Celebrates 90 Years with Forbes Recognition and Continued Member Impact
As it celebrates its 90th anniversary, Genisys Credit Union has been named one of Michigan's Best Credit Unions by Forbes for the seventh consecutive year.
The recognition comes during a milestone year for the Auburn Hills-based credit union, which was also recently awarded the Raddon Crystal Performance Award for the fourth time and third consecutive year. The award places Genisys among the top three percent of more than 500 credit unions evaluated nationwide for growth, financial stability, operational performance and member relationships.
"Receiving this recognition from Forbes during our 90th anniversary year is especially meaningful because it reflects the trust our members have placed in Genisys for nine decades," said Jackie Buchanan, President and CEO of Genisys Credit Union. Today, Genisys serves nearly 300,000 members and returns more than $100 million in savings dividends annually. As it begins its next 90 years, the credit union remains focused on maintaining financial strength, building member trust and investing in local Michigan communities.
