Nine Home Repair Grants Disbursed Through Team One Partnership
Team One Credit Union partnered with Metro Community Development and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis) to provide home repair grants to low-income families in Flint and surrounding areas earlier this year.
The initiative aimed to address urgent maintenance needs including roofing, HVAC systems and accessibility modifications. Eligible homeowners could receive up to $15,000 in grant funding to complete essential repairs.
Through the partnership, Team One supported nine households with projects totaling more than $130,000. The credit union is a participating member of FHLBank Indianapolis and continues to engage in programs that support neighborhood revitalization and community development.
